Sania is a New York City-based actress. She was born in Jamaica and migrated to the United States with her family a month before her tenth birthday. From a very young age, Sania’s dream was to perform on stage.
Fast forward to now, Sania recently completed her training at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts through the Atlantic Theater Company and is currently studying with Louis Scheeder and Daniel Spector at The Classical Studio. Her recent productions include Measure for Measure, Desire Under the Elms, The Lady of Larkspur Lotion, Conference of the Birds, Cherish Every Precious Moment, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Charlotte’s Web, and Clue: The Musical. Sania has been in Independent films such as The Babysitter, No One Asked Me and Good Morning Baby, along with much more. In the coming months, she will be working to complete a new web series called Baby Mama Drama and along with preparing for her new role as Othello in Othello.
When Sania isn’t rehearsing or performing, she dedicates her time to creative projects and outings. This summer Sania will be working on a self-directed film in honor of Maya Angelou along with brushing up on her Sign Language and dance skills. Sania is looking forward to the challenges that the future has for her, with a smile on her face and determination in her heart. Stay tuned!
